Hed PE (also known as (hed) Planet Earth) is an American rock band formed in 1994, known for their fusion of punk rock, heavy metal, hip hop, and reggae music. The band was founded by vocalist Jared Gomes and guitarist Wes Geer. Jared Gomes, also known as M.C.U.D. (MC Underdog), is the lead vocalist and one of the founding members of the band. He is known for his distinctive vocal style, combining rap-metal and reggae influences. Gomes has been the driving force behind Hed PE's music and has been involved in all of the band's albums and tours. Over the years, Gomes has gained a reputation as a passionate and energetic performer and has been celebrated for his lyrics that often touch on political and social issues.
